Head Deacons Kerry & Caryn Hurst

Kerry and Caryn Hurst serve as Department Leaders and Head Deacons for Emerald Coast Worship Centre.  

Originally from Birmingham Alabama, I have been in the local area working in the fishing industry for the last 26 years.   I met my wife Caryn (a Native of the area) a little over 14 years ago.  The first few years of our relationship were in constant jeopardy, for the sin that was in our lives, living together, drinking, drugs, etc.  We decided we had enough and needed a change, so we turned to Jesus our Lord and Savior who delivered us and planted us on solid ground.

We have been married and serving the Lord now for 10 years with 2 wonderful children, and many true friends.  We are so truly thankful for what the Lord has done in our Lives, and our heart is to share His love with others, to tell of who He is, and to encourage people to receive the gift of Salvation through His Word.
