Your First Visit

Visiting any church, for the very first time can be a tough experience. Where to go? What to wear? What time to show up? What's here for my kids? What can I expect? Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Emerald Coast Worship Centre will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and "at home"! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

Finding nurseries and classes
Caring Nursery and Children's Classes
We would like to help you find the appropriate nurseries, classes, and service for every person in your family. Our greeters and ushers are located around the building as well as in the lobby and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place.

What's here for my kids?
Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child from birth through college! At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For the infants, we have a well-trained, caring staff. For children four Friendly Sunday School Classes years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes on Sunday mornings and Friday nights. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. For student's seventh grade through college age, there are graded classes in our student ministries. The teens attend a Sunday School class one hour and then the worship service with their parents.

What's the Sunday morning schedule?
The Sunday School hour starts at 10:00am. Plan to arrive a few minutes early so that we can help direct your family to the correct nurseries or classes. This will also give you some time to meet the teachers of your family's classes. The Sunday morning worship service starts at 11:00am.

What's on the schedule for adults, and what should I expect?
The best way to get to know people at Emerald Coast Worship Centre is to visit the adult bible class where you will get practical, relevant Bible teaching. Most adults follow Sunday school by attending the worship service. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging message from Pastor Charlie. This service is a little over one hour in length.

What do I bring?
If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. If you do not have one, Bibles are available in the sanctuary for you to use. A Bible will help you follow along in worship as well as in Sunday School.

How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Emerald Coast Worship Centre for members or guests our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here!

Are there services at other times?
Yes. We have a service Friday evenings at 7:30 pm for a mid-week Bible study. If you can't be our guest on Sunday morning, we hope you'll visit with us during another service time.

Where do I park?
There is plenty of parking in the Santa Rosa Mall parking lot right in front of the church.

Is the church handicapped-accessible?
Yes. We have handicapped parking close to the entrance of the building. New handicapped- accessible restrooms are available.  In the sanctuary, an especially wide aisle provides space for wheel chairs during worship.

If there's something we missed on this list, just give us a call, email us, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you're new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Emerald Coast Worship Centre will be awesome! We exist to serve the Lord, you, and your family, and we are looking forward to meeting you personally. We hope you'll feel right at home from the very first moment you arrive! Let us know how we can serve you better, and we hope to meet you this Sunday!
